FAQs - Alkaline Water

Alkalinity refers to the capacity of water to neutralize an acid. pH is a measurement scale from 0 – 14 that expresses the acidity or alkalinity of water. pH 7 is neutral with lower values more acidic and higher values more alkaline. Most bottled waters have a pH of 7.0 whereas alkaline water, generally has a pH up to 9.5.

Clinical study has shown that alkaline water has faster hydration than non-alkaline water.

Clinical studies have shown an alkaline environment within the body is optimum for the functionality of our immune system, making the body more resilient against stress, toxins and viruses.

FAQs - ALKAWATER

Alkawater is alkaline water with essential minerals that has a alkaline pH of 8.2 or higher with a clean, smooth taste.

Alkawater uses a unique, proprietary multi-step process. The process begins with purification through reverse osmosis and microfiltration to remove contaminants – making the water 99.9% pure – and is followed by the infusion of a proprietary natural alkaline mineral blend (i.e. electrolytes) in trace amounts, formulated to complement the body’s natural mix.

Most alkaline waters achieve alkalinity through electrolysis/ionization process. This process essentially burns the water leaving a bland taste. Most of the time the fouling of electrodes produces low pH water.

Alkawater achieves higher pH from the natural minerals sourced from deep seas of New zealand.  (i.e. from minerals that exist based on geographic location and result in higher pH) or from the adding of minerals in (e.g. electrolytes). This process not only removes acidic ions, but also raises the pH level while providing a clean and smooth-tasting alkaline water.

We use local water supplies, which goes through our multi-step proprietary process, including in-depth purification, that transforms it into alkaline water with a pH of 8.2 or higher.

Absolutely, Our bottles can be recycled at virtually any recycling facility. We actively encourage the recycling of our bottles.

The pH level of Alkawater is 8.2 or higher and provides the body with necessary hydration.

FAQs - Alka Drop

Based on the source of drinking water. Typically, it ranges from 1-4 drops for a glass of water of approximately 250ml. Clean tap water meeting superior WHO parameters requires 1-2 drops, while reverse osmosis/distilled water requires 2-4drops.

Alka Drop achieves higher pH from the natural minerals sourced from deep seas of New Zealand. This process not only removes acidic ions, but also raises the pH level while providing a clean and smooth-tasting alkaline water. With Alka Drop you can determine the pH value of water yourself by adding more or fewer drops to water.

Water ionizer separates tap water by means of electrolysis into acid and alkaline water. Electrolysis process essentially burns the water leaving a bland taste. Most of the time the fouling of electrodes produces reduced pH water.

Some people experience mild detoxification symptoms (tiredness, mild headaches) at first. These detoxification symptoms are a sign that the deacidification is starting. They disappear when most of the waste acids have been neutralized and removed from the body.

When using 12 drops per day (4 glasses with 3 drops per glass) you will do about 3 months with a bottle of Alka Drop.

The answer is yes, but keep the following in mind: (reverse) osmotic water and distilled water is acidic, as this water is so pure that it absorbs carbon dioxide from the air. When you add Alka Drop, the carbon dioxide will act as a buffer, so that the pH value of the water hardly rises. You will therefore have to add more Alka Drop to the water to achieve the desired pH value of > 9. With a pH strip you can measure how many drops you need to add to a glass of distilled / RO water to reach a desired pH value.

Yes, but adjust the dose for children to 2 glasses of water per day containing 2 Alka drops.

Yes, alkaline water with Alka Drop can be heated without affecting the pH value.

Alka Drop can also be added to the tea or coffee to slightly increase the quality, so that it makes your body less acidic.

Yes, certainly possible, but always drink a full glass from it. Keep the bottle closed to prevent acidification.

FAQs - aSalt Wash

It’s essential to thoroughly wash all supermarket and farmer’s market produce you consume. Regardless of whether your produce is organic or not, it all undergoes human handling as well as potentially drift spray, fertilisers, mould spores, animal waste, and dust and dirt.

Fruits and vegetables and meat most susceptible to pesticide contamination should be washed with a dedicated Fruit & Vegetable and Meat Wash to ensure all pesticides are removed.

Water is often not sufficient to dissolve waxes and eliminate all traces of pesticides, fertilisers, mould spores, and the effects of human handling. Washing with a dedicated Fruit & Vegetable and Meat Wash ensures you’re consuming produce in its natural state and reaping the full nutritional benefits.

As the purpose of a fruit & vegetable and meat wash is to eliminate toxic residue from your produce, it’s crucial to look for a product that is composed of non-toxic, and ideally food-grade ingredients. aSalt Wash is powered by active deep-sea salt, that is food grade and does not leave any residue, taste or smell. aSalt Wash formula is only of its kind usable for both cut & uncut as well as for meat.

No, as you rinse your produce clean under running water after washing, this will not impact the taste of your food or leave behind any aftertaste.

To save time (and product!), we’d recommend washing your produce with our Fruit & Vegetable Wash in bulk, then drying, and storing for use later. Once washed thoroughly, a quick rinse prior to use will suffice.
